Plot Summary:The rib joint is about to be sold—the place Frank loves most. Owner Freddy is about to sign a deal, though he leans toward Frank, he’s forced to sell his beloved restaurant due to circumstances. To make him feel uneasy, the shop is deliberately made to look like a slum, but ultimately, the sale goes through. In reality, Freddy does it all for his son—wanting him to avoid drugs and living in a dilapidated house. Yet the transaction proceeds too smoothly, hinting at something sinister. When Frank learns of the sale, he rushes to stop it, but upon learning Freddy’s true reason—needing to sell to post bail for his son—he can do nothing. The loss of his sanctuary devastates Frank.
Meanwhile, Claire faces a major crisis. Past controversies have damaged her public image, and everyone is scrambling to fix it. Just as things are getting worse, a scandal breaks out: Claire is linked romantically with Adam. She calls her ex-boyfriend Adam, demanding he deny their relationship and clarify the origin of the photo. He complies. Claire and Frank then issue a joint statement claiming Adam took the photo in front of Frank. This contradictory story leaves Adam furious and confused, while reporters outside double in number. Claire has dragged Adam into the mess—but there’s a reason.
In truth, before the statement, Remy had already spoken with Adam. Adam, eager to marry his fiancée, regretfully denied any feelings for Claire. Claire pressured Adam into issuing the statement, leaving him heartbroken and angry at her coldness.
