Plot Summary： Claire arrived at the safe house to persuade Yusuf. Claire expressed willingness to help Yusuf regain control of Iraq, not through religion, but through the military. Yusuf's concern was that if his call agreeing to release the hostages was made public, he would become a traitor to the Caliphate. To allay his fears, Claire promised that the US government would not do so and would reach an agreement with the kidnappers in advance. Yusuf thought for a moment and agreed to talk to the kidnappers. Frank personally negotiated with the kidnappers, using Yusuf as leverage.
