Plot Summary:Gus's men rush to Gale's house and find him dead. Neighbors immediately call the police. Gus's men find Jesse's car parked outside and immediately take Jesse back to the lab. Jesse and Walter are imprisoned in the lab. Walter insists that now that Gale is dead, only he can help Gus make money. Gus's men immediately start the machines and begin cooking meth themselves, leaving Walter stunned. Gus arrives at the lab, and a terrified Walter tries to negotiate, but Gus remains silent. Walter is terrified when Gus pulls out a knife, kills one of his own men, and orders Walter and Jesse to get to work immediately. Marie finds Skyler and gives her Hank's medical bills. Marie sees Walter's car parked at Skyler's house and assumes they have reconciled. Skyler immediately drives Walter's car to find him but discovers the apartment door is locked. She asks the apartment manager to open the door, but the manager refuses. Skyler eventually manages to get inside but finds Walter is not home. Skyler calls Saul, expressing her extreme concern for Walter's safety. Saul comforts Skyler but has no news either. Hank is recovering at home, and his temper is terrible due to the slow progress. Marie is also frustrated with the process and doesn't want to go home. Hank gets angry with Marie over a small matter at home, and Marie feels very wronged. Walter and Jesse dispose of Gus's henchman's body and discuss their future plans at a fast-food restaurant. Walter believes Gus must be recruiting someone to replace him, and when that day comes, neither he nor Jesse will be safe. He plots to kill Gus. Walter takes a cab home. Skyler tells him the car has been moved, and Walter goes to retrieve it. Police investigate the scene at Gale's house, where they find a lab notebook and take it with them.
